Buddy Fest NW
Buddy Fest NW is NW Disability Support's annual celebration promoting the acceptance and inclusion of people experiencing disability (including Down syndrome). It is the largest fundraiser of the year for NWDS. The festival brings together families, friends, self-advocates, educators, professionals, community leaders and other promoters of a civil and inclusive society for a day of community, fun, and advocacy. Everyone seeking to understand, accept, and celebrate disability, diversity, and inclusion is welcome at Buddy Fest NW! Registration has opened. Let’s Celebrate with a World Down Syndrome Day After Party!
Every year on March 21st, we observe World Down Syndrome Day. It's an important day where people worldwide unite to celebrate and support individuals with Down syndrome. The month of March is also Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. This year, we will gather locally on March 24th from 1 pm to 4 pm, acknowledging that the celebration of people with disabilities can happen any and every day of the year!

2024 Kindergarten Inclusion Community Transition Support & Cohort (KIC)
The KIC seeks to connect families beginning their transition to elementary school! Through five sessions we will provide a backpack of tools and supports to kick off an inclusive journey that values belonging and vision, embraces your hopes and dreams, and explores the strengths and gifts of your child. Inclusion is centered around these attributes, the general education curriculum, and your child’s right to a free and appropriate education.
